Frequently Asked Questions
How do I start a dead hang session?
Open Hang Habit on your Apple Watch and tap the Start button. With automatic detection enabled, the timer starts when you raise your arms and hold still. Tap again to stop when you release the bar, or it stops automatically when it detects you've let go.
Is my data backed up?
Yes, your data is stored locally on your device and included in your iCloud backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled for your iPhone. All hang times and progress data are preserved.
Can I sync between devices?
Your iPhone and Apple Watch share data automatically through the Watch connectivity framework. Cross-device sync beyond the Watch is not currently supported, keeping your data private and local.
How do I delete my data?
Clear all data from the Settings screen within Hang Habit, or uninstall and reinstall the app. This removes all hang history and progress data from your device.
I denied Health data access. How do I fix it?
Uninstall Hang Habit and reinstall it from the App Store. On fresh install, you'll get the Health permissions prompt again. iOS doesn't allow apps to re-request Health permissions after initial denial.
